Katrina Chester is a singer, songwriter, musician, and daughter of legendary East Coast session drummer and educator, Gary Chester. Gary played drums on some of the biggest hits of all time, including Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl,” and classics by Burt Bacharach, Jim Croce, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, The Coasters, and countless others. His drum education book ‘The New Breed’ is considered a classic in the field. Now Katrina, and Garuji Productions partner Tony Cruz, are making a documentary about her father.
