Thank You Jason Bonham

What would you ask Jason Bonham if you got a chance to interview him? We recently caught the show with drummer Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience in Portland, ME. It was a great show, and we got to go backstage and meet with Jason and thank him for keeping the Zeppelin legacy going with live music, and let him know his dad John Bonham of Led Zeppelin is the reason we picked up the drums sticks in the first place. We talked with him about the tribute show to his dad; what some of the first grooves his dad taught him on the drums were, which included songs by Free, Bad Company, and Phil Collins. We also talked about the famous Knebworth Festival experience during sound check when Jason was on the drums and his dad was out in the field listening to Led Zeppelin, as well as playing for the first time with Zeppelin when they were in the studio recording the Presence album.

We asked Jason to interview on Musicians On The Record, and he said yes, so we’ve been in contact with his people to schedule it and make it happen. We want you to be part of the interview as well, so leave your question in the comment section below to ask Jason Bonham, and we’ll pick our three favorite questions and ask him when we interview him on the show!
